MBBS ADMISSION CRITERIA IN PAKISTAN 2020

“Old MBBS Admission Policy 2018, as amended by dissolved PMDC in its meeting held on 30th May 2019”, general MBBS admission criteria 2020 in Pakistan is as follows:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBBS 2020

Local Students:

Intermediate Student, having twelve years of education of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or F.Sc or equivalent with pre-medical combination with 70% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for MBBS program MBBS Admissions in Pakistan.

A-level student, having a course from a foreign education system or university or examination body with at least three science subjects i.e. chemistry, biology, and either mathematics or physics and securing minimum seventy percent marks and such course must be recognized by the Inter Boards Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) for equivalency to FSc. or Higher Secondary School Certificate level of Pakistan.

MBBS Admission Requirements for Foreign Students

Foreign or Overseas Pakistani students completed their twelve years of schooling from abroad and aiming for taking MBBS admissions against open merit or foreign seats in any private medical colleges admissions must have passed, obtaining a minimum of seventy percent (70%) marks in aggregate, in an examination of a course from a foreign university or examining body or its an education system with at least three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either physics or math and such course must have been duly certified by IBCC for equivalency to FSc. or Higher Secondary School Certificate level of Pakistan. These candidates also meet the following requirements for admissions:

· Valid IELTS or TOEFL (An English Proficiency Test) with a minimum band score of 5.5 or 500 or have a certification by NUML.

· SATII examination with minimum 550 marks in each of the three subjects i.e biology, chemistry and either physics or mathematics or a foreign Entry Test with a minimum score of 500 is also acceptable for applying in MBBS.

MBBS ADMISSION PROCEDURE IN PAKISTAN

· MBBS Admission Advertisement or MBBS Admission Open in Pakistan every year in the month of July/August. Admitting University of will announce MBBS Admission Advertisement 2020 this year. Now, Centralized Entry Test System will be implemented by the PMDC and the Centralized Entry Test will be conducted throughout the country on the same date by the respective official authorities in 2020.

· Students will apply for MBBS in public or private medical colleges through Admitting University (the University which is responsible for conduction of Centralized Entry Test and preparing merit of colleges). 9th August 2020 is the expected date for MDCAT 2020.

· MBBS Admission 2020 Documents required: Pre admissions documents required for MBBS Admissions 2020 are as follows;

o Matric or equivalent degree certificate issued by concerned board or authority

o FSc.pre-medical or equivalent result card issued by the concerned authority or board

o Candidate's Domicile & CNIC/BForm

o Photographs of candidate

o MDCAT registration fee 2020

· After the submission of MBBS admissions apply online 2020 or MBBS Admissions Application Form 2020 in University, centralized Entry Test will be conducted on the same date. Later MBBS admissions will be done on the basis of a merit list which will be announced by respective official authorities.
